Mica Mine Hike

Gina and I like to go on some “walk-about” after dinner during the week. The kids are tired from school and would rather watch TV or play on their devices.

Here we jumped in the truck to go look at a a trail Gina read about. The Mica Mine trail. We parked the truck at the bottom of a washed out forest road and started hiking up.

About 45 minutes later, the trail ended at the foot of an amazing waterfall. At its base was still-frozen snow from the past winter.

There had actually been an avalanche over the past winter.
