Juan de Fuca Provincial Park

Near the southern end of Vancouver Island is an absolutely beautiful place called Juan de Fuca Provincial Park.

When we arrived, we took the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and arrived at Botanical Beach just in time for low tide. With the tide out, we were able to get a great view of the really awesome biological diversity on the coast.

Some really amazing trees you could walk under.

Sea creatures would get trapped in tidal pools.

Lots of evidence of past lava flows.

Pretty cool vegetation would grow where water would seep out through the rocks.

Sea life gets caught in these rather large bubble formations in the granite.

Sea urchins, anemones, and barnacles.

Smiles!!
