Driving up to the Columbia Icefield.
On the Columbia Icefield. In the distance is the Athabasca Glacier.
Runoff flowing back into the glacier
Pretty cool Ice Explorer. This is the same type of vehicle that rolled over just three weeks after we visited.
Huge tires. Tire pressure is lowered to 15 PSI.
Taylor always has to taste-test the glacier water.
The off-limits area. Some of the crevices are large and you can get really trapped.
Yeah, it wobbles when you walk on it. I think I’m going to pass.
The Columbia Skywalk overlooks a ravine. The stream at the bottom is run-off from the Athabasca Glacier
This goat got really close.
Look closely and you can see a mountain goat just under the Columbia Skywalk
Pretty steep, but they’re really sure-footed
The masks actually kept your face warm.
Total power move by Abby. Gonna blink!
A view from the visitors centre.
Walking on the Icefield.
Just down the road from the Columbia Skywalk is Tangle Creek Falls.
The falls are pretty big and its really impressive.
Lots of people would hike and climb around to get to the top.
