COVID-19 meant the hot springs were closed, but the gondola and the visitors centre at the top were still running.

Normal Sanson hiked up Sulphur Mountain at least 1000 times to gather weather data from this staton from 1903 to 1930.
They replaced the door with a plexiglass window and the interior was maintained to as close as it was back in the day.
A special wooden boardwalk was built so visitors can walk all the way up to Sanson Peak.
You can see the weather station at the top of Sanson Peak. The federal government ran the weather station starting in 1903.
Gina made another terrific lunch.
Many of the pine trees had interesting lichens and mosses growing on them. The pine trees smelled amazing.
A cool shot from the gondola on the way up.
Really steep gondola ride. And a pretty long way between tower.
The gondola ride was fun and pretty smooth
